If AA works, well more power to you but i think its a joke. I can't stand the religious aspect of it. Why religion is incorporated into so many rehab programs is beyond me. religion is a driving factor in why a lot of people drink in the first place.

anyways, drunks put drinking ahead of everything. they are great procrastinators, thinking i'll drink today and get work done tomorrow but end up doing the same thing tomorrow and the next day and so on.
AA is not allied with any religious sect. All they suggest is that the alcoholic stops trying to be "God" and that they have an open mind to other forms of higher power. Be it Karma, good orderly direction, spirituality, kindness or religion.
