In federal court, they send you a long questionnaire by certified mail. Failure to fill out is a crime. I'm sure they get lots of "racist" answers, so hers must have been over the top. But she's in jury duty at whatever the feds pay these days. But no lawyer or Assistant US Attorney will seat her on a jury. So she'll be sitting there doing nothing day after to day, when they meet (fed juries meet irregularly). If she is a no show, she'll have US Marshalls looking for her. The Feds don't play around. As I said, she must have said some really crazy stuff.
