Stalingrad - Is the infantrymen version of Das boot. 100% accurate about the biggest battle ever fought in human history. 800,000 soldiers died in that 6 month battle. It's in German with English subtitles.
Ride with the Devil- One of my favorite books made into a movie. It's about the civil war and how MO could not decide if they were fighting for the North/South. It turned into a State civil war and where the term Bushwacker came from. |
150 years later they still fight. Living in KC, people from KS & MO still hate each other.
As in cop from MO fighting KS cop over who was going to bust a guy who drove drunk over the state line. The drunk snunk off, got home & free.
