Wasn't he discovered at 14 after he posted a Youtube video? Nothing against his success but if you want to defend his hard work, go ahead but don't pretend as though he toiled at his craft for years.
Anyway, in my original post I made no judgment on working hard or not, the point is that some avenues to great wealth have drawbacks. Everyone wishes they could have their cake and eat it to, but the world doesn't work like that.
Wanting to be famous then complaining about the paparazzi is like wanting to be a UFC fighter then complaining about getting punched in the face. It's just part of the game.
