Cripes Martin, that's just harsh. Much condolences.
58 is way too young. But my dad is 83 (in very good shape though) and if something like this were to happen to him I'd be crushed. At 58 you should have had your dad around for another 30-odd years.
There really are no appropriate words here. Just very sorry for you man.
