You cannot run a porn blog at WORDPRESS.com
You can though, have a self hosted wordpress install on your own server, and do with it what ever you please! (wordpress.org) <- download wordpress for your server ( or do One Click Install if your hosting company provides that feature)
Pros of running a porn site/blog using wordpress,
its free, its open source, its extremely extendable and customizable, it is developed my hundreds of developers.
Its a CMS, so its nice that you can have a Frame Work set up and ready, and from there, just simply upload your content, and make a Post, and bam its ready..
It works well with search engines, aside from SEO stuff built in, any site i ever made with wordpress was indexed by google in less than 2 days. This may be a coincidence, but thats what happend.
Its user friendly, I found it the easiest to grasp when I first started, iv tried jumping into Drupal and Joomla, and as nice as they seem to be I think wordpress was just easier to understand.
If you are not a programmer, but you can hire a good one, you can have some sweet shit done.
Its PLUGINS are all free, all of the ones in its own database at least, and there are cons to that as well, but the ones that are well maintained are extremely good.
Cons: Its free... lol, so theres no guaranteed support, you cant call wordpress and make them fix something if it breaks, which usually is broken by "you" anyways, so its not like wordpress breaks often..
There are some things that some would think a must, that it doesn't have built in, some back-end things are not so customizable but its not to big of a deal, at least not to me.
I dont run a porn BLOG, but i run a porn website with wordpress and as others may have the same or similar functionality as wordpress, it has made my work so mother fucking much easier. I actually went to work with just html building a porn website, then i found wordpress, never knew what a CMS was, and after a while, i wanted to cry because i looked back at the work i was setting myself up for by just using html, and i thank god every day for wordpress.. and again, its not so much that wordpress is a god send, but software such as wordpress are god sends, because they cut work by like 80% if youre doing shit old school through html..
