Years ago when I was in the Marines, every so often someone who went UA (AWOL) would be sucked back into the unit. In same cases, Marines just left, went about their life and never got into trouble, until twenty or thirty years ago they got a ticket and got sucked back in. Suddenly they arrested, and forced back into the military at the pay rate they were making twenty or thirty years ago.
Anyhow, one time this old black man gets pulled back in, fifty years old, gray hair, walks with a cane. He gets into it with one of the tougher Marines named Adam, big buffed young Italian kid. This old frail black man warns him, Adam doens't walk away... Old man jumps up, touches the ceiling, round houses him, breaks the kid's jaw.
Amazing.
