it may be that getting cut prevents std's but it could also be that the std's you do get kill you because your body has no built in immunity. Not saying this is a fact , simply that statistics can be misleading..

Take the study of the op.. several studies in africa show 50%+ decrease in hiv after getting cut , yet the actual occurance rate is higher among cut men. How is that even possible ? because the study is almost pointless. Hard to extrapolate results from a flawed study.

i would trust these studies more if they pointed out such obvious mistakes and showed related data alongside .. for example. what is % of hiv among cut at birth men vs uncut in usa
