Electric cars that use clean energy as a source of power:
Don't use and leave as many oils and chemicals on the roadway, don't create noxious exhaust which chemically reacts with roadways, streams and buildings (and our lungs), generally weight less and produce less heat causing less wear and tear or road surface and substrate.
This tax is not the way to create a better environment for everyone and push economic growth. Bad decision.
