Weren't you taught that he came among us to suffer for our sins so that we didn't have to? That would seem to indicate that it was supposed to have happened, doesn't it?
Didn't he rise again from the dead by which he came into his present status? Without being dead you can't rise again and become well known. Not without the internets.
