.xxx will just mean some have to adapt to survive.
If and it's a big IF removes all the porn from the Internet. It will be the biggest boost for the porn industry since the invention of video film and the VCR. But I doubt it will happen.
If all porn is shunted to expensive .xxx domains, it will prove the demise of many small fry. They didn't give a damn for the people in magazines, video or cable TV when they were giving away free porn. That's business and as many small fry are leaving the business. It will speed the departure up.
I .xxx is just another TLD, then it's got little to offer and the few who buy it might make some money, but don't gamble on it.
Most will continue to look for new ways to give away more free porn and little else will change.
So many were terrified 2257 was going to be a game changer and it proved to have little to no effect. Maybe a few decided to ask for documents, but not many. Porn goes on.
