If every single Torrent site came down, it would make little impact to the online paysites industries turnover.

A few people will buy. 99.9999% will go to the major Tubes. The odds on selling them a Dating Site, Cams or Penis Pills are slim. But you can all boast that your traffic went up by 10%-50%

Your income won't.

The truth is few have anything that the user has to buy. He will get similar scenes for free on a Tube site and they're legal. Unless someone changed the DMCA law or showing porn to non payers and enforce the laws, Tubes will continue. And 99.999 of traffic will be there. Soaking up expensive free porn.

The solution is much tougher.

Unless paysites have something seriously worth selling the industry will decline and decline.

The real problem is the attitude of many online people. Fabian boasting he has 20 million a day on his Tube, Robbie about his 1.2 million a day and TheDoc'c belief that free creates surfers which creates sales. None of them think what they could of sold if there wasn't so much free porn available. Even at the height of the business and TGP sites very few converted better than 1-1,000. Not clicks, surfers soaking up free porn. In fact that ratio is probably very generous.

If all there had been was a softcore advert, softcore tour. Traffic would of plummeted by 90% and sales would of sky rocketed by 500%. Costs for satisfying the free surfers appetite would of also dropped.

Why is it so From the beginning most believed selling porn was hard. So they went the numbers game. You heard over and over again the comment "Why do people pay for porn" and "I wouldn't buy it" We had vegetarians selling to meat eaters.

To the customer porn is easy to sell. The number of surfers on your free porn proves it's attraction.

Porn is very easy to sell to it's audience. It's just giving it away for free, that makes it tough.
