So what are Canadians doing? They're very close according to voter opinion polls to electing the socialist New Democratic party to run the country. LOL Who will spend their way into debt giving freeloaders and rejects more free stuff as if they don't get enough now. The leader of the party is a goofball who is the epitome of the term 'limousine liberal' and 'champagne socialist'.
I know nobody cares but it is absolutely bizarre.

Everything in Canada is 30% more expensive than the USA for vague reasons, the banks ruthlessly cheat everyone with fees and interest rates, they are on the verge of getting the only metered Internet in the world and I guess you are aware of what it costs to watch TV or use a mobile phone there. I left ages ago because of all this BS and being forced to use one of the crappiest medical systems in the world. And then there is as others in this thread have pointed out his little military fantasy which costs millions a day.
Oh and the new Conservative crime bill with its private prisons and 6 month mandatory sentence for having 6 pot plants for personal use.
Harper will do nothing about any of this and in fact has the highest deficit budget in Canadian history. The banking regs have nothing to do with him even though his party takes credit for it.
From what I have heard it seems the Conservatives are a bit out of touch with grass roots rage and the NDP are gaining ground. I doubt they will win but it may be that they are the official opposition to Harper's minority government. And perhaps then ordinary people will be heard a bit louder.
