So considering the US basically bought and paid for Saudi Arabia (including bin Laden family) decades ago, and the US is after oil, doesn't common sense dictate there's a good chance they're in cohorts together? |
What oil have we gotten from Iraq and Afghanistan? Add Libya to the list.
Or is this all just set up for later down the line?
Possibly having installations in place to take over if the need would arise. Although that's kind of shortsighted as Iran will have nukes, Pakistan and India both have nukes.
