they had an official explain how they got the information..
they were speaking with him in a casual setting when THEY asked him about this courier dude. All he said was that the guy was not important.
That was the huge breaking news clue they got, from this the official said they presumed since he said the guy wasn't important that he must be really important and went to work tracking down who he was ( courier )
the truth is they found bin laden by calling 411 in pakistan based on the number bin laden called.. thats it.. pure dumb luck
