I used it after virus scanning and malware scanning and discovering no issues with it. It showed my password(s) and then I re-virus and re-malware scanned and still turned up no issues. I've scanned a few times since, so I think it's safe to use. I think of myself as careful, but with anything thats going to reveal a password I try to scan a lot so I'm sure. Maybe make a restore point.
