No one wanted a LIVE Osama Bin Laden. That scenario would be a disaster on so many levels it isn't even funny.
Then why risk the lives of elite U.S. special forces troops just to snuff him? They knew where he was. One smart bomb or Tomahawk missile and bye bye Bin Laden. Name me one other terrorist or dictator that the U.S. has ever assassinated using special forces. The Hussien brothers were killed by a bomb. They tried to kill Saddam a couple times with bombs. They tried to kill Quadafi with a bomb but got his family instead. And the list goes on and on. The leader of the Taliban...yep, a bomb. So why was this mission different?
