There is no excuse or sympathy for him or anyone around him.
He knew what he was doing, they knew what he was doing, they knew what was coming to him and yet they were supporting him.
He takes lives from people who don't have choice, mothers, children, fathers all innocent.... but he had choice right up to the end.
All the hostages brutally beheaded in front of their families on tv, all the innocent people bombed, tortured, soldiers killed for this cause.... she would have seen a lot worse already and yet her and her mother were still there by his side.
Why is this even in question? It's questions like this that make the navy seal question himself drunk and blow his own head off, when really he should be proud of what he did.
