It's only a matter of time. You can't stop them.
I was an at air show this weekend at local AFB and they had security. And it was dumb. The security was on the flight deck (or whatever it's called) and only person by person. While I understand it would be impossible to check all five thousand cars entering the base, all a bomber would need to do would be to drive in, park his car, and walk away. The headlines would read "terrorist bomb on US Air Force base" and that's enough.
Oil tanks are a huge target too. Not too far from us is an oil refinery, where they store god only knows what in huge tanks right off the freeway. Would be easy to crash a single fence and crash into one of those tanks.
Only a matter of time.
