Paul, while I do agree with you, a site is still a site. To be great online your design (has to be user-friendly and achieve business goals) and everything around it still count for a LOT.
Yes, content is the way to go, but in this day and age people hardly take you serious if your site looks like shit. Be it porn or mainstream.
