My favorite part is "no other faculty member is qualified to teach the subject."

EVANSTON, Ill.?Northwestern University has decided not to offer a human-sexuality class in the next academic year after a professor allowed a couple to demonstrate the use of a sex toy.

Psychology department Chairman Dan McAdams tells the Chicago Tribune that professor J. Michael Bailey won't teach the class next year, adding that no other faculty member is qualified to teach the subject.

After a human-sexuality class on Feb. 21, Prof. Bailey invited students to stay for a graphic discussion of sexual fetishes. The discussion included a woman who stripped and allowed her partner to use a sex toy on her.

Prof. Bailey later apologized for the demonstration, which prompted heavy criticism of the university.

Spokeswoman Mary Jane Twohey said she had no immediate comment on the university's decision.
