My ex-girlfriend's dad completely hated my guts. He said I was a bum, would never amount to shit, and was "mooching" off his daughter. He had a cushy insurance sales job and thought he was king shit. This was 20 years ago while I was still in high school.
I posted a job on Craigslist for a local sales rep and guess who sent their resume? Yep! Mr. Rick {name hidden to protect the douchebag}! I responded to the application with a, "Hey Rick, remember me? I used to date Amanda back in high school. So you're looking for a job? Maybe I can help. Come by my office and we'll talk."
He hasn't responded.
