Yeah, it's a genuine auction. It's quite a cool buy if you have somewhere to put it, and have the money lying around. I don't know what the minimum or recommended price would be, but I think the same site recently sold another aircraft carrier for 2 million GBP (about $3 million). Apparently they rejected a bid of 5 million GBP from someone in China because they were worried it would be put into service by the Chinese Navy.
