I've been a webmaster since 2002, of course I have signed up for tons of affiliate-programs.
For example I've had been a member of MoreNiche affiliate-program since 2006 and I started to build for them and send them sales this year...
When asking on the board for FHGs in a niche and people tell you that you get get those galleries at ******** and *******.
Which would be your #1 choice, a sponsor you already have a account with or a sponsor where you have to create a new account?

It's a calculated risk.
You're on the short end of it.
No big deal.
For a sponsor, someone who hasn't made a sale in 6 months is an inactive affiliate, regardless of whether a few hits trickle in or not.
They gave you notice.
It's not "retarded" it's just business.
If they made the wrong decision, they'll pay the price.
