i hate decadence too but it's a really slippery slope - if you're wealthy what's appropriate to spend without being called decadent and having people post pictures of starving African children?
you could call people who aren't even wealthy decadent - you could say that every penny you make above what you need to put a roof over your head and clothes on your back should go to starving children or you're decadent.
