It would be kinda like theft, if it was a new release, drm, blue ray hd burn, from a subscription service like hbo, and some other times. The illegal part of this is why adult content owners can sue pirates, if a number of things happen. However, if anyone in our industry sued an ex-member that downloaded a movie they could have downloaded as a member, that Company will lose that fight very quickly.
