It's kind of an old argument. Back when Clinton was pres and the house and senate were GOP controlled, he begged them to send him a bill to expand wiretapping ability to suspected terrorists. They never would.
The moral is, live long enough and you'll see everything at least once.
I'm no fan of the patriot act, and not a fan of busting down doors at all unless you utterly have no choice due to impending voilence for instance. Just saying a few years ago it would be Reed making a comment that he didnt like it and Paul implying he was a terror lover for his comment.
