You sound like the people that think there is some elite society that isn't subject to what everyone else is. If Google logged every fine detail of every person on the planet it's not like their staff and political figures would be excluded.
Either way, what is happening is going to happen regardless, there's no mass awareness campaign that's going to make everyone stop using Google's stuff.
