A White belt can destroy a Black belt? Why do they even bother with belt rankings then?
I'm not so knowledgable about all the belts, and how one moves up or down in belt rank.
As I understood it, in many martial arts, White belt is the lowest rank, and Black belt is the highest rank, but the belt order in Jiu-Jitsu runs (lowest to highest) White - Blue - Purple - Brown - Black, and then Red:
Then there are all of those stripes or degrees.
Why/How did you fall to Purple belt?
In 2005, when you infamously called out Kimbo Slice, you stated repeatedly and emphatically that you were a 3rd degree Black belt:

When a few people involved in mixed martial arts questioned your 3rd Degree Black Belt claim, and produced the list of people whom had attained the rank, you stated you in fact were on the list (your name was not known on the board at the time); your response:

Now that your name is known, it turns out your name was possibly not on the list.

There's the list of known 3rd Degree BB in BJJ, that you said you were on.
-----
Some very talented grapplers are not BJJ trained. It doesn't mater, but trying to look good by saying you are something you aren't, well, that doesn't put you in a good light.

Now you can surely tell us which person on the list you were, and more importantly, how did you fall from 3rd degree Black Belt all the way down to Purple belt?
Do you think that this terrible injustice will be corrected, and that you will rightfully be reinstated as a 3rd degree Black belt, now that 5 or 6 years have passed and you are 2-0 as an amateur, coming off a big DQ win over a W1 - L2 (now L3) fighter?
