Sarah Palin's self described ?One Nation? bus tour got off to a roaring start today, as the former Alaska Governor appeared at a motorcycle rally near the Pentagon. While there wasn't a bus in sight, Palin was captured on the back of a motorcycle decked out in leather and sunglasses. Palin was asked by reporters if she expected all of her events to be as loud. The former Governor responded by saying "Oh, it would be a blast if they were this loud, if they smelled this good,
I love that smell of the emissions.?
Palin traveled as a passenger on the back of a bike to the Vietnam memorial. Palin announced her intent for the tour as a "fundamental restoration of America." Palin's itinerary for the tour remains a mystery, however it has been reported that she will eventually be rolling into Philadelphia, South Carolina and Iowa.
The former governor has said that she is just contemplating a possible run in the 2012 Presidential, however when asked if she was going to run on the Greta Van Susteran show, Palin stated she had ?a fire in my belly.? Palin's former running mate John McCain seems to think she has a shot at the nomination. When asked if Palin is capable of beating Obama in the 2012 race McCain declared ?of course she can.?
