its because when you post it publicly, others can jump in and say how high it is and what it should be... although most people have no clue and talk out of their ass.
rather you corner someone 1-on-1 you can start the price much higher
either way, anytime I see multiple people posting about banner spots on big tubes, just leads me to believe 1) it doesnt convert or 2) see #1
