So, we woke up outside of OKC and had only seen dust twisters. Everywhere I went was the wrong way. Of course, the storm chaser on TWC wasn't doing much better. I had to decide whether to go north into KS (which had no storms forecasted, and is not very scenic), or I could go into AR and MO (which had a little potential, and is a lot more scenic). I opted to
head into Arkansas.
I figured out that most storms were later in the day, so we took the scenic route coming in south of the Ozark National Forest. Great idea. Very scenic and timed the storm just right . . . if you wanted to be in it. Not very good to photograph though.
