The domain I am after is taken xxxyyy.com.

Is it worth registering xxxyyy.tv or xxx-yyy.org or should I think of a new domain name, something like xxxyyyzzz.com?

I will be designing the site to target search engin traffic with the keywords xxx yyy.

Another thing to consider is brand recoginition.

Will the serps or potential members be turned away by a .tv or hyphenated .org domain?
