Players have stated they'll gladly play 18 games ( like they do in the Candaian football league ) if they are paid more and the owners have said they would. So really a non-issue.

Actually players make more than the owners. Of the 9 billion the NFL makes, the players get $4.8 billion and the owners get $4.2 billion. What other company do you know where the employees make more than the owners?
