there was this viral video a long time ago about a guy who made a motion detecting sprinkler to keep birds out of his pool. they sell them now cheap at like wal-mart.

Religion is a good fallback also .. explain to the kids parents you have bible study hours
best idea though is to find a job with or for your kid. kids hate work , so they will leave and if not you have a good excuse to have them leave.. "its work time , either help or it's time to go"
