Wrong. I was just there last night after we left the MGM. Had two beers and two shots at the IBar. My tab was $19.94
I showed them my total rewards card and my ID and told them I wanted the locals deal at The Rio.
By contrast...I had 2 screwdrivers at the MGM. My tab was $34!
I've also drank with it at The Masquerade Bar back in Feb.
I was told by the folks at The Rio that it works in every bar on the property. Also works for a discount at the Rio Buffet.
