Most people are motivated by the money and where I somewhat disagree. Don't get me wrong, money is fucking great but what motivates me is to take a unique concept and make it a profitable venture. I've had more then a few failures that cost hundreds of thousands, but the ones that do/did work were pure home runs.
#6: I think you should of added to stick to what you're good at. The reason there is so much failure in this biz is because most wear too many hats. I have my own Networks that does well, but I spent/wasted years learning all programs/aspects on how to make it run, alone. The journey was a lesson but in the end it revealed that some of us are not "true" players and need to adapt in different ways. I've netted more money teaching/consulting unique marketing methods due to past failures and success.
Meaning, there are players who can show up everyday and play the game. Then there are pinch hitters who can't, but can easily bring in the winning run each and every time no-matter the pressure.

Ansolutely correct man! I had to stop as I was just rattlimg off points. LOL Interesting that you finally realized to stick to what you're good at after wearing so many hats. I decided to hire some help when I realized I was literally doing 23 differant jobs. Full-time, paying gigs at other companies! So now I do maybe 17 but at least i can breathe now. And post random "tips" on GFY on a Sunday. :D
Anyway, you learned and adapted. This is what I mean. Others may have made differant choices than you and struggled more.
BTW: I always assume the phrase "adapt or DIE" means, by 'die', that you leave adult and do something else. the funny thing is, if that something else makes you MORE money (as in mainstream) then isn't THAT "adapting"? LOL So maybe dying (leaving adult) IS adapting.
Or did I just blow your mind?
