George Martin book = never get attached to anyone...

I guess that's what happens when you have an inbred closet twink on the throne. I must admit, I didn't see that coming, especially after he recanted. Gonna get interesting with the Dothracki side story as well.

If you liked the show, I highly recommend getting the books. 'Storm of Swords', all 1400 pages of it is well worth the read if you want to find out what happens.

You're the one that got me into the series when we sat on the flight to Curacao next to each other.

as others have said, never get too attached to any 1 character in a george rr martin book. He gets bored easily and likes to shake shit up.

The beauty of the series is that no on is safe. It has definitely replaced WoT as my favorite series.

Wow, I just watched Ep9 and shit that was a shocker ending. I only started watching this yesterday (yes 9 eps in just over a day) love the series so far can't wait till next week.

I think one of the big problems with the death in episode 9 is that everyone just assumed he was the central character of the show. Sean Bean just happens to be the top billed star, but every character shares equal time. If anything, Ned Stark was on screen the least amount of time of anyone.

thats what i meant by bait and switch. get the viewers in and get rid of the star. i probably wont watch season 2.
