I guess we have President Reagan to thank for this.... He is after all the godfather of turning elections into auctions and paying them back through major contracts, giving them seats, and most damaging from him, deregulations of all kinds that totally f'ed us over but made others billions/trillions.

It isn't just some seats and money. This is way f'in bigger, even down to our States and local. Just look at what stocks your STATES own. who the Governor is, and who the major contributors to them are. It even happens in our city counsels and all over small gov, straight up to the top.

We're boned...
