Come on people... being a rep is about sales.... sales is about networking. If you got the contacts, you can get the sales. This isn't rocket science people!
The problem is... too many affiliate reps are about networking and being a front man, that many have no technical experience at all, so they come across as useless, but they are far from it.

Networking is important, but networking is only 25% of the job.
Some people in this biz have lots of friends, they can sell themselves but couldn't close a window never mind a deal.
