First to Chris: I NEVER made a dime doing the shows I did, I did it purely for the fun of it, I spent tons of money out of my own pocket when AML first started out for prizes and shit to give away, I did manage to get a FEW sponsors, but it was to cover backend shit like hosting and certain prizes to give away.
To Gonzo, you are 100% correct, on any given show night I'd spend at least 3-6 hours prepping right before the show went live and each week at least 3 days would be spent getting guests and topics lined up, in the end the show SOUNDED like a total improv show with little to no direction BUT it really did take a shitload of work to make it sound that way lol.
Having an actual radio past helped me allot in doing those shows.
But at the same time it was allll the work for no money that made me hang up the mic in the first place.
