How about... instant approval so those with ADD don't have to wait more than a minute for approval. But, when affiliates don't return an email from the company (within the same amount of time you want for approval) when they are trying to reach you on the email you provided, they terminate your account and keep your funds. For a program to boost their number of active affiliates they should approve quickly. On the long run they will have more active affiliates and make more money.
The amount of time to arrange for payment is unrelated, but it is fair that there be a time limit, just like there is with cashing a cheque.
