Everything seems to cost more in Canada.. from food to gasoline to services.
A few months ago, I was looking at some real estate in BC, and the agent mentioned an HST tax of 12% on it. Holy simolians! Why would I want to pay for other peoples' health care? The Canadians are smoking some serious 'tax crack.'
It's why I only visit Canada --and don't live there and invest there. If they ever get rid of the socialism up there, I might consider it much more seriously. It's a beautiful country.
