Shit man, the taliban live like it's 1420, how they treat women and children. So that's okay? let's stone a bitch because she showed an ankle!
Alternately, if Congress passes a "law" that says Slavery is now legal, would it be?
C'mon man, ur defending Slavery. LOL

I'm not defending anything.... this isn't about Slavery.
We were talking about Hitler, mass murder, making a law afterward to convict him of a crime. When murder itself has never been accepted across civilized societies and was already a crime. Then Slavery came up, which isn't the same... it's illegal today because of a law, it wasn't always illegal or a crime across civilized societies, it used to be normal. Nobody is going back and convicting the ship merchant for being part of the slave trade, it wasn't illegal until after the law was created.
Anyway... going on with your post
It's legal to own a gun (not everywhere though), lots of people do not own a gun, others think they should be illegal, cops have been quoted as saying anyone with a gun is a criminal - registered or not. I have a feeling if Slavery was legal today, the topic would be a little hotter but the mixture of opinion and action wouldn't be any different than guns.
