brassmonkey, I once took a trip out west by car and the absolute hottest spot I have ever been ever was the Painted Desert in AZ. Got out of the car and it is just stifling like 120 or something.. dry heat but man.
Most uncomfortable heat tho was walking outside of Shreveport LA. My grandpa lived there. Oh man that is some muggy shit down there. Muggy and hot. Both are really unbearable in the summer.
