No uploading, piracy sites die.
Plus, if you knock out one upload, you can stop 1,000 downloads. It is much more effective to stop the problem at the content's source.

Share the same sentiments. Problem with that is that you have industry attorneys going to bat, for some of the hosts, and knocking down those sorts of tactics.
