And the reason was fuel economy, not safety. Look it up. The fuel economy on the 335i DFI BMW goes up to 30+ mpg when exceeding 90mph. Goes down to 22 mpg when traveling 65 mph. Look that up, too.
And when I need to get somewhere that fast, I do get on a fucking plane.
