Ok, you seem to be talking about
Libertarians here, as in members of the Libertarian party. Minarchists in other words. If that is the case, I guess you are right.
However, only a small part of the
libertarian movement are minarchists. Most are anarchists (Rothbard, Van Dun,...). And amongst those, a major part opposes the idea of intellectual property (see Stephan Kinsella, Hoppe,...).
When talking about libertarians, it's best/safest not to generalize things
