There are any number of countries which will not extradite for white-collar crimes but these fools leave their ill-gotten gains lying around in US banks, readily available for seizure while sitting on their asses at home waiting for the Fibbies to come get them.

Had I done a deal like Lapre did, I'd have been out of there a long time ago with the money safe in untraceable offshore accounts.
