I can definitely live with this explanation. I mean really, was he a standout marquee player? Did he attain
fame in the hockey world? Did he make an impact on the game in any way? If the answer to any of that is yes then why not include him in the hall of
fame?
Otherwise let's change the name to the Hall of Stats.
